How does the proxy checker work?
Our checker connects to the proxy from our server and measures connection time, checks if it forwards HTTPS traffic, and analyzes response headers to determine anonymity level.
What does "Elite" anonymity mean?
Elite proxies hide both your IP address and the fact that you're using a proxy. They don't send any proxy-related headers like X-Forwarded-For.
Why might a proxy show as dead?
A proxy may be temporarily down, overloaded, or permanently discontinued. Try checking again later or use a different proxy from our list.
